Third Country Training Program on Vocational Rehabilitation for Person with Disabilities

The existence of people with disabilities (PWDs) is often ignored, isolated, denied, discriminated, stigmatized that create psychological and socio-cultural burden on the PWDs. PWDs exist in all over the world and in all of community level.  It is estimated that 400 million people with disabilities have capacity to contribute to national development in the Asian and Pacific region and they rapidly increase become agents of change in their communities through their collective actions. However people with disabilities are mostly still excluded from having education, employment, and other economic and social opportunities. Furthermore, 20% of the poorest people are the people with disabilities.
